It's been a while...

It has been brought to my attention that I have been a blog-slacker of late. I haven't even been particularly busy. I have no good excuse. I've even signed on to Blogger countless times and started posts, only to make it about halfway through and discard them. Pointless! Drivel! Crap!

But, in the interest of assuaging the raging curiosities of my loyal readers (all 2 or 3 of you), I shall post nonetheless. Brace yourselves.

Life has been hectic but good lately. I spend most of my time either at work or shuttling back and forth between my place in DC and Mo's place in Maryland. As both of us are damn near broke, we don't get out much (although we did have a lovely time boozing it up in Adams Morgan for Mo's birthday last week). We mostly stay in and rent movies (we watched a particularly bad Finnish lesbian-ish film the other night). We celebrated our half-anniversary last Wednesday (and by "celebrated" I mean "ate dinner, shortly after which I fell asleep while Mo did her homework), which was an important milestone predominantly because we finally got to use the word "anniversary" in good grammatical conscience (one cannot celebrate a 3-month anniversary, because the word "anniversary," by its very structure, indicates the passage of a year -- "anni").

In other exciting news, I still hate my job or, rather, hate more aspects of my job than I like, which, when summed, equals aggregate hatred. I may or may not currently be looking for another job that may or may not be with the company for which I now work.* I may or may not be getting desperate to escape from my dungeonesque employment at what may or may not be the most disorganized, ass-backwards "business" in the District.

*One can never be too careful when discussing one's job. Stupid at-will employment.
