I hate politics. I really, really do. But being the fine, upstanding American citizen I am, I felt compelled to watch at least part of tonight's debate. We piped it into our cave-like basement college newspaper office via C-Span's online streaming video. Now, I don't consider myself very liberal at all, but I snapped and couldn't take any more of it after the discussion of gay marriage. Won't somebody take a stand FOR the farking issue? SOMEBODY?? Guess not. Goatfuckers. All of them, I tell you!

Side note: am still brainstorming appropriately evil and humorous ways to retaliate for my father's little politically tinged "gift" I received in the mail (Bush/Cheney '04 sticker). Suggestions? Let me know.

Now I'm off to read another gripping paper from some overly wordy scientific journal for my bio seminar tomorrow. I fear I may be unable to contain my excitement... or the violent coughing fit which promises to ensue as soon as I lie down to sleep tonight.
