I am inept and confused.
I am bad at "relationships." I have a hard time reading people, so if someone needs to get a point across, they have to hit me over the head with it... perhaps multiple times. Subtlety is not in my repertoire. Also, I AM NOT A FREAKING MIND READER!
Ahem. Sorry. Allow me to explain.
So I've been sort of "seeing"/"talking to" ("dating" is a stretch) this girl, we'll call her Red, for a week or two now. We met a few Thursdays ago at "Thirsty Thursday" with a bunch of the rugby girls (neither of us are actually on the rugby team). We really hit it off, and we've been talking a lot since then. We have a lot in common, including not wanting a "serious relationship" right now, because we're both about to graduate (and will, in all likelihood, end up in different states). We did, however, agree that we are both interested in continuing to spend time together and just taking things as they come. Sounds great, right? Right.
BUT, I'm getting all kinds of mixed signals, and I'm left incredibly confused as to what she wants/expects from me. I can understand moodiness... I am the QUEEN of mood swings. I just wish we could establish some kind of status quo, so when one or both of us is being all weird-moody, we at least know where we stand overall.
Now I must return to putting my life on hold so I can finish my school work so I can actually graduate in May and not get stuck here for another godforsaken semester.
