... for a very important announcement.

As of today, the 15th day of the month of August in the year 2006, I, Killy McKillerson, have been in an actual, committed romantic relationship for exactly one year. Yes, it's true. One year ago today, Mo and I met for dinner after work at the DC Cafe. I was nervous and verbose; she was nervous and shy. I had hummus; she had falafel. I gave her a book of crossword puzzles then, and now she has my heart.

Happy anniversary, baby!

Side note: I am bracing myself for a barrage of snark regarding this post, particularly about the crossword puzzles and the vegetarian cuisine. Go ahead, people, do your worst!
