Sasquatch
There is nothing tiny about me (well, my head is kind of small, but not freakishly so). I am not a petite individual, but I'm not a freakin' Amazon. So how come it's so damn hard to find shoes? Why am I relegated to the land of clunky orthopedic "lesbian" shoes unless I resort to shopping for footwear in the men's department? Why does every other shoe size get its own section at such stores as Marshall's and TJ Maxx, and I have to root around on the "10 and up" shelf? I couldn't even find a fuckin' pair of flip-flops in the Ladies' shoe department at Wal-Mart today. They had mediums (7-8) and extra-larges (11-12, which were just big enough for me to trip and almost take out a whole display of children's flip-flops when I tried them on), but no larges (which I can only assume covered sizes 9-10), so I tramped across the aisle to the men's shoe department, which smelled strongly of B.O., where I was unable to locate a small (7-8), which was what I needed. It's a conspiracy, I tell you! All I ask is for cheap summer footwear in my size!
