The Fuck-it Point

noun. the point at which you really and truly cease to give a damn about whatever it is you're doing (for me, this is generally some sort of academic endeavor). the fuck-it point varies from person to person and even within a single individual, depending on the activity in question. the fuck-it point is reached much earlier and with much less exertion when an individual is experiencing "burnout", which results from having worked to the fuck-it point multiple times over a short period (for example, finals week).
